That's too bad that things aren't paning out like you'd hoped. I'll remember that when I go visit I'll have to make sure I have not expectations of what Berkley will be like. *hugs* Hope your able to work out what you need to. Love ya.

::nods:: Things work out like that some times- I'm just more emo about it some times than others. It's not too big of a deal.

Yeah. My impression of Berkeley so far is that it manages to capture both the feel of a college town and of a big city. That alone has a certain amount of charm, but nothing especially unique about (except, maybe, for lightened marijuna laws).

San Fran largely strikes me as mostly just being another big coastal city. Has it's perks, but nothing to really emphasize (from what I've seen).
