I was REALLY looking forward to seeing a buncha great movies this year, and I guess I still am, but why has everything pretty much sucked so far? Disappointing!

jordan asked me if I saw "No Reservations" like, yesterday. and i said "uh, no" as in "are you kidding me, why would i have seen that?" And now here YOU are seeing and enjoying it! Is it this generation's Citizen Kane or something and i have no idea about it?

haha another reason to like him! no i promise, it's weirdly good. all three lead performances - with a pinch of patricia clarkson thrown in for good measure - a solid script and story and the whole thing just leaves you with a deservedly warm feeling.

you know i wouldn't bother mentioning it if it wasn't (surprisingly) worthwhile!

oh, and it's pizza AND mozzarella sticks next time.

Oh Jess, I've really missed these entries!! I can't believe how long it's been since we've actually hung out. When was it? When we saw "The Fountain?" Anyway, unacceptable. I liked The Strangers, too! I just wanted to know more of the 'why' but that's okay. And Dan in Real Life, well, it was "predictable but engaging." How's that? =)
