i had an amazing weekend in portland.
i can never say this enough:
i love love LOVE my precious portland peeps.
&i even met more wonderful friendly heads!

upon arrival friday night was the florida room
cupcake pre-surprise birthday drinks for donny-poo.
we were so smooth he didnt know what was coming.
emily &i sneaked out &headed to his house
for what was the best surprise party ever.
i mean, he really didnt expect to have all his friends in his basement
&he sure as hell didnt expect to see the Gossip play a secret show just for him.
it was just so awesome to see them in a sweaty basement w/all my friends
dancing our asses off &there was even a sing-a-long to the blossom &full house theme songs.
"in my opinionation the sun is gonna surely shiiiine"

blake is such a sweet amazing boyfriend, donny is very lucky.

later that night me &nikki &blake watched the riot grrrl documentary w/donna d.
&yeah, i made a drunken confession/thank you of my love for chainsaw.
it was pretty hilarious.
saturday night julia came in to town with my lil bixby.
we went to chopsticks where we watched bad karaeoke &drank alot.
the drinking helped.
omg then we headed off to meet dana rae &nikki &sara.
they were at the egyptian room &when i mentioned going there, BOTH emily &kyndall said "um, sure. i havent been there in years"
its a fuckin lez bar!
it was so gross to me, i dubbed it The Absolute Worst Place in the Entire Galaxy.
i know that is dramatic but it just felt really icky.
good thing all my friends were there to make it fun &amazing.
dana rae &nikki monster finalized the night w/a fabulous rendition of
"dont stop believin'"
by sunday night it didnt even matter what we did.
i had a 3-day hangover build-up &there were so many parties all over town that it all seemed a bit overwhelming. we started off with dinner at kyndall's &julia got too drunk so when we hopped in the car to go to the next party she was really sick. the party was dead &we never made it to the john waters party cuz we had to take sickie julia home to spend new year's eve spinny in bed w/lil bixby. we went back to kyndall's where no one bothered to countdown. it was still fun &we walked to the first party of 2007.
