THIS IS AN INFO POST
(and I hope the majority of you will read this)

PROBLEM #01: Facebook/Twitter crossposting

Idk if you guys noticed but when you comment on a post (or reply to another comment), two little boxes will show up:

If you click on them, your comment will be cross-posted to ur Facebook/Twitter page.
BE CAREFUL if you write a comment too fast, you might accidentally select one of them and the comment will be shown somewhere else too.
BUT THAT'S NOT THE ONLY PROBLEM.
OpenIDs and Facebook accounts are considered as registered users.
That being said, I'll make an example:

LJ user XXX writes a fanfiction and post it in her journal.
OpenId user YYY and Facebook user ZZZ comment on XXX's post, quoting a part of it
(it happens so many times).
Users YYY and ZZZ can cross-post their comment to their own pages and
even if later on XXX f-lock the posts, other OpenIDs and Facebook users will be able
to read that post THANKS to YYY's and ZZZ's links.
Basically even your f-locked entries won't be that private anymore.

Check the latest post @ news.
In one of the first comments (probably really the first) someone explains how to get rid of the two boxes on the comment box but this will not keep people from tweeting/facebooking comments to your f-locked posts

PROBLEM #02: Tags

Apparently, all of a sudden, someone decided that this -> "/" (slash) can't be used for tags anymore.
We still don't know if it's just temporary or not, but many communities are having so many problems, especially those related to fanfics.
For those of you who have a SLASH in your tags please check them: go on your tags page, click on one of the tags which have a slash and see if it shows posts related to it.
If they don't fix the problem or if the change is permanent (THEY SHOULD HAVE SAID SOMETHING ABOUT IT!!!) then I guess the only thing you can do is manually change all the tags.
