I think there's a few of us around here guilty of obsessions and daydreaming, and I'm probably at the head of the queue. Han and Leia were one of my first, too.
Did you like R/T before DH or was it that which sent you into full obsession mode? ;)
Hmm, that's a good question. I was very excited about Tonks in OotP because she was finally a HP character that was "my age." Lupin was my favorite all around character (next to Ron and Harry, because come on, everybody loves Ron and Harry). After HBP, I went back and reread OotP and I saw more of the 'ship than I had before, and I'd say that was when I decided I really liked the idea of it. As for obsession, I didn't realize I even had it until I started speeding through DH to see if more of it was in there! I think the newfound free time I have after the bar exam is what put it into "obsession" mode -- that and the growing idea of writing an AU where they don't die, because that was very uncool to off two characters without an explanation.
I was always open to either Lupin or Sirius having a romantic interest because I am a hidden optimist and I believe my favorite characters should be happy. Happy and not dead.
Hullo! I'm Elisa. H/L was my first obsession, as well. I named my dog Princess Leia (my other one looks like a mini wookie but since they had puppies together, I'm glad I didn't name him Chewie :p )
The 'ships you mentioned above have all been a big think in my life at some point which is kinda funny.
And as much as I love fan fiction, I have never been able to complete a story. i have one, Forgotten Memories, that I posted on theforce.net forums about 6 years ago and I still haven't finished it!
I generally have a problem posting stories because I think everybody says what I want to say, only better ;)
I used to post all the time when I was in high school, because I thought that for a high-schooler, my stories were tha bomb. Maybe this is true, but when I reread them, I tend to *squee* with embarrassment.
I'm not even that ashamed of my writing! Just of my fandom writing, I guess.
You and zestyzorra are such good prefects. I want to reach through the computer and hug you.
No, really, I do.
This is someone from the Gryffindor common room. I was going to post it in the community but I didn't want you guys thinking I was sucking up to you or something.

Reading fanfic is great though. I can never get enough. I've been reading R/T fic non stop since summer began. It's almost pathetic... almost. :)
