so the accident...
here it is in pictures. i've been told a few times in the last few days that it's a miracle i lived. no seatbelts. pretty much head-on collision. probably about forty or fifty mph.
it's scary. that without a seatbelt i actually walked out of this.
so this is how i looked when i went to bed when i got home. i got to take the sling off. but i was miserable.
yeah so i wasn't a happy camper.
then after a few days of rest, painkillers, and having melissa have to bathe me, i saw the car...
so it's pretty much totalled. thank you saturn for saving my life. i ♥ crumple zones.
this was inside where i was sitting. thank you airbags. you saved me from certain death.
and here's what the outside of where i was sitting looked like.
today when i got to clean my right hand from under the cast, here's what it looked like. not bad anymore. but you can imagine how it looked when they were all bleeding. especially since a lot of these were deep...
the general consensus was i came over the hill, hit the brakes and turned right, caught the front passenger side of the vehicle turning left in front of me, hit the windshield with my head, i blacked out, the airbag deployed, i came to staring at the floor dizzy, and broke some stuff, and burned and bruised a whole lot more.
i'm lucky and glad to be alive. talk about a life changing experience. i think jared was looking out for me. i love you bro, rest in peace.
