Awww, I'm sorry to hear that. :( How upsetting for him and for you.

Would you say that the meds are helping those episodes become less frequent? Or do they help him recover faster when he has one?

I can't believe he's old enough for kindergarten! Where has the time gone??

The meds are definitely helping with both the frequency and recovery time of the episodes. Before meds, he would have 8 to 10 of these episodes every day, and each one would last 20-40 minutes. They would result from "infractions" like me catching the ball the wrong way, or not being a dino the right way, or not being on the same stair as me. The Abilify has been the major player in the improvement with the Zoloft just making him happier with less talk of death, dismemberment, and disemboweling me. Right now with meds he just looks like a temperamental kid at times. When he's himself, he's so sweet and kind and gentle.

I know I can't believe he's going to KG. But he will be 6 in September.

Well hooray for meds, I say!

I admire your ability to cope with this. "death, dismemberment, and disemboweling?" Where does that come from in a six year old? I know I'd be seriously freaked if the girls said something like that.
