This isn't Mac-specific, but slot-loading CD drives and CDs that are in any size or shape besides regular CD generally don't get along well. I'm guessing you'd have to take it in to someone -- I wouldn't suggest trying to get into a Mac yourself. They're not really built for amateur tinkering. It's really easy to screw things up on mistake.

Yeah, I second that about the Mac. It probably wouldn't cost much to have it repaired (maybe even free, I dunno). If you don't have a place down in the Burg, I hear there's a Mac store of some sort in Memphis; they may be able to help.

dont bother calling apple; i did that the other day. i think i just slid an atm card or something in to get the mini disk out. the mac kindly spat the mini disk back out to me.
