from BBC news, boy "pregnant" with twin brothersince before he could understand words, it cried and whispered to the boy and it grew inside of him, a bitter mystery of hair and bone. there was always a vague pain, like embers smoldering away merrily inside his abdomen. when he did certain things (things that made him content or joyful) the fire ( Read more... )

thankies. i scoured online news sources for ages looking for something that struck my fancy, and that headline just leapt out at me. it seemed like something out of the tabloids, and yet it was a legitimate BBC news story. i started to wonder what it would feel like, physically and emotionally, to be that boy.

...just to explain the "assignment", a group of my friends realized that once we left college and started becoming productive members of society (<- sarcasm), we stopped being creative. work, children, and various other things have sucked away at the time we used to spend writing/painting/etc., and it's also slightly difficult to become inspired under these circumstances. add world-weariness to the fact that for the most part we're trained for our entire academic career to write according to an assignment, and it's a recipe for the meanest case of writer's block ever. so we formed a group of almost-thirty-something creative writers, and will give each other assignments and then meet to discuss them- hopefully somewhere ( ... )

Someone I know had a cyst of some sort in her uterus.. or was it ovary? Can't remember which but she told me that it had hair and teeth. I tried to hide my disgust but it was hard. I really like the new look you have going here. Still pink... but even prettier. So I take it D has pretty much dropped TSO in favour of a real game. I'm not on line much either because I've been taking classes at night. Tell him hi from me. And hi to you too. It's Andrea.

i once dated a medical student who told me about those kinds of tumors. he explained it as a cellular abnormality (sort of like cancer) that uses bits of the person's DNA as it grows, hence the body parts. he said that doctors rarely tell patients what the tumors consist of, because it's so disturbing, but they're fairly common. it's disgusting and yet fascinating- the human body never ceases to amaze me.
d still plays tso sometimes, he's just obsessed with other things currently.
i was wondering where you'd gone to- good luck w/your classes. :)
