I am listening to president elect Barack Obama giving his acceptance/victory speech and I finally really understand why my Mom's generation called Kennedy's government "Camelot".

I had given up on government, mainstream society, all of it-just waiting for the Earth herself to shake us off like some many irksome fleas.

He's right when he says we have a lot of work ahead, but man is it ever good to have the *chance* to do the work instead of being forced to sit and watch the world burn!
