Sometimes in life there are situations where people cannot say anything in particular to console someone or make them feel better, and any attempt to do so by using the typical trite cliche' sayings that we've all heard, such as "Oh, everything is going to be okay" or "Well, it's not that big of a deal, you'll get over it" serve no real purpose in helping people out - hell, they're more of an annoyance than anything, nothing but empty phrases used to break a terribly awkward silence or fulfill one's natural obligation to give a quick and easy response or answer to someone's problems ( ... )

Well, it's shit people say like that that makes it so hard for me to jump off cliffs! Dammit ! Thank you, that's the nicest thing anyone has said to me all year ;)

I'm going to get my ass in gear-relocating is always a bitch I guess since I am in LA now.
