I got a snippet of a call from John today. He did well on his promotion board, and is now promotable!! :) I'm very proud of him. Now, we have to see what the point cut-off is for his MOS and see if he has enough points to make rank. :D

He's still at Specialist. If he gets the promotion, he won't be able to pin it on until March or April. I'm still not even sure when he'll know he gets the next rank, but doing well on the board is a MAJOR step. I'm still all confused as to how the Army works. :)

Levelling up depends on the DM. I think this is an off-level, though, with no new skills or proficiencies yet. (Seriously, I laughed, though. Best comment evar!!)

Yup, once I go back in for training (IE: more skill points) I'll get a few neat proficiencies....to name a few, Skill: Supervisor, Perk: Make a junior enlisted do it, Feat: Push Private!....among others....new title too....Sergent....*shrugs*
