I finally went to a hand surgeon about my left index finger. He asked what we were looking at and I put my hand on the table and he went, "Ack!" (I think that's a bad sign.) He looked at it and looked at my xrays and told me I have a giant cell tumor of the soft tissue. It's rare and a little technically tricky to remove, but it has to be done
