The additional infuriating thing about religious folks is that they tend to be passive and wait for "god to provide"

If she wasn't so religious she would probably have done something about it herself in the first place!

In all fairness, if she lived there 60 years and is an ols lady, safe bet she is 70 or older, and from the sound of it she didnt have the resources to do anything herself. Also you arent hearing or seeing the story in first person so you don't know what exactly was siad. She could have said to the guy that god sent her an angel or who knows what else.

Unless there in the first person hard to judge these things by the news eidtors choice of what to show.

And it is far easier not to understand people then to actually live in thier shoes with maternal instincts kicking in

Just sayin

We are just coming from different angles. I al using her as an example of a general group of people with similar tendencies. You are more thoughtful, thinking about her as a person.

I agree with you from that angle but I still do have my believes regarding that generalized pattern of behavior.

Ever notice how these religious folks are always giving Thanks to God, but, when a sports person's team loses, he never says, " Jesus made me miss that shot!"?
