Not only have I started listening to the radio in my car instead of cds, not only do I listen to Radio 4 and Radio Wales, but as I drive through the Butetown tunnel I wonder to myself why the Radio 4 signal works all the way through but the Radio Wales signal doesn't, surely they are off the same transmitter

Re the radio stuff it'll be down to the wavelength that the station is transmitting on I reckon mate. Really big wavelengths just don't fit into tunnels, smaller ones can make it through - see? :-)

I've been listening to radio 2 for years. I think maybe I was born forty...

I am truly in awe of your radio knowledge. Thank you for resolving what was really starting to bug me!!

I will never forget us discussing something about age and you so matter-of-factly said 'oh well, you are never going to grow up' to me. I am definitely starting to see signs now, which is a bit worrying. Before we know it I am going to be eating lots of fibre and eyeing up the Readers Digest as a good read.

Aw - that comment was only meant in a cheeky/silly way - it wasn't a serious one! I really can't see either of us ever stopping being silly when the mood takes us - the the fun would really go out of life then wouldn't it! I don't think the cold-blooded shooting of dork_mistress will end up being necessary...
