Too confused to rock. (it'll probably be a long one)

It seems I returned to my home country as it begins to seemingly sink. In shit that is, we don't have enough water to sink in that. About 92% of the country are having major drought problems, and the water source levels are down to a the glass isn't even half full state of 38.8%. Still that doesn't stop geriatrics like the one two doors down who ( Read more... )

Wow, it sounds like you're havingt a really lame time of things. It's amazing to me how, once you've lived away from your parents, trying to stay with them becomes such a nightmare. It's like, "wait, didn't I do this for many, many years?" Plus, I think you get spoiled on not having them around. My sister-in-law has randomly sprung on us the fact that she's moving into our house, with her doofy boyfriend, in two weeks. As much as I like her, I'm used to my home being me, Jaerin, and a couple of cats. That's all. I want to kill her for doing this to us, but I guess I saw it coming.
Congratulations on your Anniversary! Have you thought of what you want him to get you? Hehe maybe you should ask for ponies :P
I don't think it's disturbing or weird at all that you miss your cats. That would kill me to leave them behind like that. It was bad enough when they lived with my mom because I couldn't have them in an apartment. Do you think you'll be able to get more cats sometime?

Yes, you hit the nail on the head with the whole moving away from parents then moving back in with them. Of course I guess it's worse moving back in once you're not only a one person unit. I mean alot of the stress I feel is because I know this is completely alien to Anthony and that pisses me off. I feel the need to constantly stick up for him when the folks or brothers are trying to slowly impose something upon him ( ... )

Chows are like little bears. My aunt had one for many years (she may still). I remember that the thick fur could be kind of problematic, though. In the summer it's too hot and all year it mats really easily. If you're willing to comb it all the time, and trim it in the summer, it's okay, though.
Hey, so I have a surplus of Pony Points now, and I've gotten everything that I need. If you give me your address, I'll get something with the remaining points and send it to you. It's the least I can do after you gave me all of yours.

Yeah, I've heard that about chows, I think on Martha Stewart. She has about 3 of them.

In regards to the Pony Points, thanks for the thought. I'll take a look what's available over the weekend and get back to you via email.

Happy anniversary! Sorry about Australia, there should be police-enforced restrictions for people like your crabby neighbors. As for presents, this is kind of impersonal, but maybe your husband will think its okay: giftcards? I love giftcards because I also go through stages. Like right now I'm currently in a bathroom accessories stage, and a few months ago I was in an antique-looking bracelet stage haha. I mean, I love actual gifts as well, but if someone is really unsure what to get me, I don't mind a giftcard or consider it rude. Some people think its impolite, etiquette-wise. I just think it's the thought that counts, the giver wants the receiver to have something they really want.

oh nicole, happy anniversary! the first anniversary is paper, so maybe it would have been more appropriate to get him a printer...however useless it may be. haha. i've given up trying to buy a house here. in order to save enough money, we have to give up luxuries. and frankly, i'd rather have fun. i mean, we're not too extravagent, but if i died tomorrow, would my savings help get me into heaven? anyway, good luck finding a place. i can't stand to be at my parents' house for more than a week. though it must be nice to save up money that way.

haha, maybe I could of bought him a whole bunch of really horrid gifts and hoped that all together they'd turn out great; toilet paper, printer paper (minus the printer), uuuhhh I hear some people make clothes out of a special sort of paper....

not too many months now and you'll be deciding what to get Andy.

Yeah, I guess we get to save to some point, though it's kinda hard to do that when Anthony isn't allowed to work yet, I have no regular job yet, and we just keep getting these huge bills from out of nowhere. Like 1245 dollars to lodge the visa app.

Oh I'd definitely rather live in a hole in a wall, than have to give up the little things like a smoothie now and then or something.
What you said about heaven makes me think of this slogan tshirt I've seen around:
"He who dies with the most toys....still dies"
I think that's aimed at those who are a little obsessed, I never understood it when I was a kid, just made me want toys more.
