You should come to UC Davis. This is based mainly on the fact that Beth and I are going here...I'm not too sure how the music department is. Except that our band teacher is totally kickass.

Good luck with being a music major! My parents gave me the same reaction when I said I might want to major in music ("Why would you want to do that?!") Keep on trucking. Whatever that means.

Actually I'd love to go to SJSU, except that I don't think they even have a horn instructor on staff. But it's always nice to be thought of. :) Thanks for you support.

Yeah we heave a horn instructor. I couldn't remember her name so I asked my friend in my quintet, he says:

hey,
her name is meredith brown, and she went to te
conservatory in san francisco. She is in a pro horn
quartet called Quadre that just released another cd.
She also just won the principal job in symphony
silicon valley, she also subs for san francisco
symphony and all other symphonyies in the area. Tell
you freind to come visit and get a free lesson. she is
a really good teacher.

I'm glad you came up with a decision which had reasons behind it, and valid reasons at that. I've made that mistake a few times and regret it sometimes. Anywho, keep us all posted and if I can help you out in any way, shape, or form, you know how to get a hold of me ;)
