Interlude II; In which Changmin finally leaves.
He can feel the hard gazes, the dark eyes boring into the back of his head. But he continues to walk swiftly down the stairs with no fault, no hesitation. He pauses at the end of the stairs, and he waits patiently for the clouds to slowly part and fade away.
“You are really going to leave me? Leave us?”
There’s a cold silence lingering in the air before he smiles darkly and peeks over his shoulders. “Yes.”
His brother narrows his brows together and takes a step forward to lunge at him, but a hand on his wrist holds him in place. “Are you sure you want to do this?” He sees the long and pleading eyes of his good friend. “Are you really leaving, Changmin? You’re never going to come back?”
He turns his head back to look at the colorful spots on Earth and answers a simple, “yes.”
Yoochun pries off the harsh fingers on his wrist and reaches for the hem of Changmin’s shirt. His fingers stop midway; however, and he lowers his head. “Why?”
“Because I promised.” He remembers the vivid image of JaeJoong, hears the small voice, Will I ever see you again? His heart flutters at the thought of the man, and he feels a little better about leaving his family behind.
Seeing that all of the clouds are now finally gone, he glances once more at his brother and friend. “Good bye Yoochun, Yunho.”
It’s time. Changmin closes his eyes, opens his wings, and jumps, flying away.

Author's Note: Quick & small update. I hope this isn't going too slow (or somehow too fast). :P And as of right now, the total parts of this drabble-series/ficlet are going to be twelve. Take note that this may change any time.
And for those of you who are wondering who Yunho is (incase you didn't understand my horrible description & all), yes he is an angel too. A friend of Changmin & Yoochun's. I'm (75%) sure Yunho will appear once more in the later parts so don't forget about him just yet. :]
