Prompt 6: Imagine Person A of your OTP drinking away their sorrows. Just as they’re feeling most miserable, they feel a tap on their shoulder, and see Person B behind them with their drink of choice. Together, they talk and drink the night away before stumbling home and falling asleep on the couch.

You should be working on your upcoming projects, but instead, here you were, at your favorite bar. You tilt your glass and watch as your drink swirls in the cup, the golden brown liquor glistening under the dim light. There are too many things on your mind, too many concerns about the future and questions about the what-ifs, that leaves you a mindless fuck. Honestly, you wish you weren’t so emotional, but lately, you have been feeling a little too lonely.
You’re drinking away your sorrows, eyes closing and head tilting back to finish your second drink, when you feel a tap on your shoulder. Slowly turning around, you blink and see Yoochun, holding a drink of his own. He gives you a genuine smile and slides into the next stool, reaching over to place his hand over yours. You ask for another drink and silently allow him to twine your fingers together.
You turn your head to look at him directly in the eye and he raises his cup. “Let’s talk,” he says straightforwardly before taking a sip of his cup, and you can’t stop the corner of your lips from twitching upwards.
“It’s about everything,” you start hesitantly, pausing to wait for his response, and when he gives you a nod, you continue. “It’s the upcoming projects, what the future holds for us, why I should be even afraid.”
The list is never ending, really, but Yoochun is there, silently listening by your side, and you can never be more grateful. And when you finish, he finally gives you his input, reassuring you that he, along with Junsu, will accompany you. And when he finishes, you reach over and lightly kiss him on the corner of his lips. He welcomes the kiss and chuckles as you shyly pull away.
“It’s late,” he points out, “we should go home.”
You nod in agreement. And when the two of you finally stumble your way into your apartment, you and Yoochun quickly kick off your shoes before settling down onto your couch. Yoochun falls asleep first, arms wrapped loosely around your torso and head on your shoulder, and you smile softly as you lean down to press a kiss on his forehead. You close your eyes right afterwards and allow sleep to take you to your dreamland.

Author’s Note: Late post for my first twelve days of 2013. I’ve been up lately, working on my other writing projects, and well I ended up slightly feverish. But I’m okay now, alive and breathing, and fangirling over EXOM (OMFG).
JaeChun is adorable really, but I usually don’t write about them. I really don’t know why.
