I had to write an autobiography for sittercity.com. I will be looking for sitting jobs, so if you know of any send them my way. I hope you enjoy the story, abridged version.

I looked up what "sittercity.com" was and it's cool that you're going to become a baby sitter - even if it's temporary. (It's a profession you can study for in England.) But personally, I think you should focus more on working with Big Brother and possibly other incidents in your life where you have taken care of kids/pets, depending on who you'll be sitting for, in your autobiography. Because taking another look at this in the context of being a parent looking for someone to hire, albiet I don't have kids, but I wouldn't hire you. A lot of the information is unnecessary - living in Boston and Puerto Rico is a good tid-bit and shows that you can adapt to different cultures making you more accessable, but hanging out with "un-cool" kids, even though it's part of your life, it's not information that matters. I figure this autobiography should have a related theme, who you are and how your life has led you to want to take care of others.

I second Lindsey's advice.

I think a lot of parents are looking for information that shows hos your experience is going to benefit their child. You speak Spanish, have a car, you've been a big brother and you have a ton of free time. Those are all beneficial; the fact that you parents had a rocky road to divorce... that really doesn't help little Timothy or Sally. Not at all...
