And it came to pass that Ilúvatar called together all the Ainur and declared to them a mighty theme, unfolding to them things greater and more wonderful than he had yet revealed; and the glory of its beginning and the splendour of its end amazed the Ainur, so that they bowed before Ilúvatar and where silent.
I'd be willing to bet it would give goosebumps to listen to it.
the vagueness of this fiction lends itself nicely to imagination, when realization must be nigh impossible... I'd like to try though. with synthesizers. Ilúvatar must have tickled an ivory or two, right?
I think you could make a good argument for it. Haha, I could use that argument while I make my dissertation in a couple years--"Arda was encompassed and created in no less than 12 separate synth-lines". Oh wait, I don't know anything about music. Back to the drawing board.
i think its funny (i.e. irritating) when people who don't read a lot otherwise are like, "oh, read the harry potter books, it's like stepping into another world". Like when you read any other novel ever written that you find interesting. huh.
