This is really cool, the au works really well and I love all of the details - Marcelo's hair, Pepe's Mum etc. I thought the relationships were awesome, the friendship, Cris and his Mum and of course Cris and Kaka-I'm a big fan of the pairing and I think you really showed how it could work, ur characterisations were great. Kaka makes such a good Priest and I love the ending-his explanation of his faith/crisis of faith and the issues that relate to that was perfect. and Cris was also lovely, I can totally see him with this power. and the whole idea of relationships and power and attraction-is totally relevant right now-valentines day week. So I'm not sure if this clear enough but I really love it, so much so that I'm pretty sure I'll read it again tomoro, their relationship was lovely, I think you did a really good job of keeping the characters believable within the au, and it was a great au. and the last scene was just the best. Its way too late here so hope this makes sense-summary = thank you for posting this awesome story I really ( ... )

augh, I'm so so so glad you liked it. and omg I didn't even think of the Valentine's connection -- after my failed attempts to finish it by halloween and then by xmas, this is a holiday fic after all!!

Okay, so like I said I have many thoughts so I am just going to share ONE and not keep us here all day:

This is going to sound crazy, but like

I want Pepe's mom and Cris's mom to be friends?

Even though one of them is Dolores in her little cozy house baking bread pudding and giving good advice and not letting Cris swear in her house and the other one is. The scary fish lady in the river. They're both just so awesome in this. I want them to join forces. To their sons' everlasting chagrin/benefit.
