Kaká is beyond adorable to look at, but I remember I tried to follow him on twitter during the 2010 World Cup and gave up after, like, five seconds. *laughs*

Minor nitpicking, and you did get it right some of the time, but the accent is "á," not "à"-we barely use the latter in Brazilian Portuguese, and definitely never in a person's name :) And his club was "São Paulo"-accent optional if you can't be bothered to find the tilde, but omfg why do people always write it "Paolo" >:|

aughgh thank you for catching the mistakes! Will correct. Haha, yes, I for one call him "Ricky" like we're on a first name basis. one of yeats' and my most gratifying moments was at the Philadelphia game last year, when we heard marcelo/various others down on the field calling for "Rickeee. RICKEEE!" and meaning Kaká. WE DIDN'T MAKE IT UP!

I BELIEVE YOU! :D I'd just never heard it before! The Brazilian media call him "Kaká" pretty exclusively, is all. ...Ohhh, wait. Out of curiosity-Ricky pronounced as in Enrique or something like "hick"? Or as in...uh, well, regular "Ricky"?

i have nothing to add except that this man is perfectly perfect. he is inexplicably simultaneously fun, funny, sexy, and a giddy 10-yr old boy. his body is amazing, i'm into all those long limbs, even his fingers are long, and his hair is my favorite. his smile quite possibly powers the entire Bernabéu, and it will forever hold a corner of shadow if he leaves now. i don't want that. he played so well in pre-season, he's earned his chance. i'll definitely shed a tear if he leaves. plus, i actually feel that he's the only one who doesn't have to work to understand Cris on the pitch. it just comes naturally to him, figuring out what Cris will do, and where he'll go. a lot of times Cris will do something brilliant that won't work out, because no one anticipated him doing it, so they didn't follow up.

wait, i totally remember the Xavi thing. it was like the funniest thing ever. one of my favorite things about Kaká is that he does shit like that, and he's like a naughty little boy. there's not malice in it. i love that Cris watched him do it and made no move to stop him.
