+CSI
+good book choices
+music I've mostly never heard of

+I like that you didn't just say "George Bush Sucks" and I liked that you used intelligent phrasing and words like "imperialistic" and "rhetoric" because there are college students who don't even know what those words mean.

-you share a lot of my opinions it seems but you should have elaborated a bit more. the abortion answer didn't bother me though, I don't mind that you don't sugar-coat

so I guess that's a yes

I didn't really like anything you had to say. I didn't like your abortion answer and I didn't like your military answer either. You might can sway me though.

I think military recruiters should stay out of schools.

Should schools hide the fact that the military IS an OPTION?

I don't think teens are oblivious to the option of the military, and I dont think schools should hide ANYTHING.

I'm just trying to make the point that military recruiters hanging around highschool, acting as that "big brother I never had", teching children that the army/marines/airforce is the only way they'll ever make it to college (and in turn their dreams), and making countless promises (most of which are never kept) is wrong.

Schools are a place where we are tought from the time we can write to believe everything were told. We are tought to trust that the information the teachers/administrators give us is fact. I don't think schools are the place for military recruiters.

I fear that may have swayed you in the wrong direction, however, it is my opinion.

I am not going to give you a no because your opinion is different than mine. I just really wanted to know your thoughts on this issue.

I don't think teens are oblivious to the option of the military either. I think that teens ARE oblivious to most of the things that the military has to offer. Weather it be college money or the best job training or whatever else.

I have never met a recuriter that has told me that the military is the only way to go. Not that their arn't recuriters out there that do that. I am sure there are.

I don't think that most recuriters lie. I think they just highlight all the good and leave out most of the bad things. Which is where people have to get smart and not only talk to a recuriter but talk to someone else that is in the military.

Plus...my almost boyfriend is a recuriter. :p He needs a job. haha jk
