"Absolutely not," Haruhi said flatly, glaring at the make-up case. It didn't answer her back, nor did the empty room. The ebony and silver case just sat there, its contents glittering like precious gems. There was a little note tucked up against the mirror, held there by a tube of lipstick.
She flicked it open with a fingertip, studying the elegantly written inscription.
