That was one of the first things Gaara noticed about Rock Lee. He looked like he should have been entirely uncoordinated, with those skinny arms and legs. But Lee was someone who truly lived in his body. There was a lot of strength in those arms and legs, though one couldn’t really tell just by looking, not with that green thing he wore covering almost every inch of his skin.
Gaara found himself fascinated by the way the Leaf Village Ninja moved. He was like wind over sand; there, stirring things, but too fast to be caught. The Sand Ninja found himself trying to catch Rock Lee, only to find him constantly slipping away, too fast.
It was the most amazing thing he had ever seen.
