Temari sat on the edge of Gaara’s bed, a bowl of broth balanced carefully on her lap. Gaara gave her a bleary look, sniffling. She put a hand on his forehead, wincing at the heat she felt rising from his pale skin. Her brother had become more and more human since loosing the demon.
He never used to get sick.
“Open up,” she said, holding up the spoon.
