Summary: Temari is sure her brothers are insane.
Gaara, Kazekage of Sunagakura, sat in his office and peered at his sister over the top of his paperwork. “It’s breeding.”
“It’s not breeding,” Temari sighed. “It’s paper. Paper doesn’t breed.”
“This paper does.” He waved a hand at the stacks of scrolls. “Just watch.”
Temari looked at the scrolls, then at her youngest brother. “Go outside, Gaara.”
Gaara tore his eyes away from the scrolls. “Hm?”
“Outside,” Temari repeated. “Just… go. Forget about the paperwork for a while. Get a little fresh air.” Before you loose what little is left of your sanity, she thought but didn’t say.
Gaara blinked at her, then rose to his feet and proceeded out of the office in a stately manner. The Kazekage did not run, after all. Temari waited a few moments before following.
Kankuro ambled past her as she went, arms laden with scrolls as he headed towards the Kazekage’s office, chuckling evily.
“My brothers,” Temari said to herself, “are both insane.”
