There was a colorless, translucent quality to Jean-Paul’s skin that Victor loved. It was smooth like porcelain, and the same color. And it showed a blush so easily.
Victor loved to watch the blush come creeping up on Jean-Paul, starting just above his stomach and working its way up his chest and neck before finally turning his face a pale pink.
Of course, Victor knew other ways to raise color on Jean-Paul’s pale skin (though those ways often lead to the creeping blush). Nibbling on the older man’s skin left behind little marks that filling him with a sense of joy. Those little marks told the world that Jean-Paul was his. Like a brand. Victor was rather fond of the idea of Jean-Paul having his mark.
Mine, they all said. You’re mine.
