So, which one is he? Jono asked, his eyes sweeping over the Young Avengers. A tendril of flame leaked out from behind his scarf, licking at his cheek.
“If you’re going to be like that,” Angel sniffed, “I won’t tell you.”
I’ll find out for myself, he warned, an unspoken and burn his face off lingering under his ‘voice’.
“Da!”
“He deserves it,” Ezekiel said earnestly, which earned the young empath a swat from his older sister.
“No encouraging Da to violence,” the pyrokinetic warned.
Don’t hit your brother, Jono admonished. Now. Which one is Dexter?
“Are you going to threaten him?”
“Duh,” Ezekiel said with a snort, answering for their father.
“Then forget it. I’m not telling. I’d like to keep this one a while.”
