Jono blinked, glancing away from Ezekiel a moment to look at Jubilee. The baby boy chose that moment to spit his dinner of mushy peas all over the back of his father’s head, much to the delight of his older sister.
Jubilee giggled, offering Jono a hand towel. “Sorry.”
I think you lot are conspiring against me, Jono said, wiping at the green mush.
“Who? Us? Never. You’re just being paranoid.” Jubilee said innocently.
Angel, is Mummy conspiring against me?
Angel giggled. “Da’s funny!”
“That’s right, honey. Your dad’s a funny, paranoid man,” Jubilee teased.
