Summary: It's a new generation.
Maybe Victor shouldn’t have been surprised that Rachel’s older grandson had green hair. But it honestly had been unexpected. It was a dye job, used to cover up the fact that the boy’s hair was mostly white.
The mutant first encountered the newest generation of speedsters during one of the dye jobs. The reek had warned Victor of the speedster’s presence, despite his best efforts at using his speed to stay invisible.
“Look, will you knock that off?” Victor finally snapped. “I know you’re there.”
The speedster finally held still, giving Victor the chance to get a good look at him. His features had enough in common with Aiden’s to make it clear they were brothers, but while Aiden favored Rachel and Nico, this one more strongly resembled Tom. Except for the green blotched towel around his neck and the shower cap. The speedster stared at Victor for a long time with an utterly unreadable expression.
“So, you’re… Gabriel?” Victor asked, dredging the name Bobby had given him up from the recesses of his mind.
The speedster took off as suddenly as he had arrived, leaving Victor alone again.
