Summary: They made Becca into a fighter.
“Find the Vell offspring!” Captain Ler barked at his troops. “All others are expendable, but bring me one of those children!”
“Tut tut, Captain.” A hand gripped the Kree by the back of his neck. He twisted around, lashing out with high speed blows, but his fists found only air as his attacker melted away.
“A Skrull,” he hissed at the dark haired humanoid, who slammed a scale covered foot into his midsection with enough force to send him flying.
“Not exactly,” he rumbled, bringing an impossibly large fist to bear and pounding it into Ler’s face repeatedly. “You should have left us alone. We were perfectly happy to ignore you. But noooo… and now I have to show you what happens when you mess around with my family.”
The blows didn’t stop until the Kree stopped moving.
-Protean? What’s your status?-
“I’m in their mission control, Iron Hide, and I’ve got their commander. How goes on your end?”
-Aside from a little singed fur and some scrapes, we’re good.-
“Excellent. On my way out.” Protean sprouted wings from his back as he ripped a hole in the side of the ship. He grabbed the unconscious Kree and leapt out, spreading those wings in flight.
