Jono’s two biggest problems were that he wasn’t very good at self control, and that Victor could be very persistent when he decided on a course of action. All the energy that the boy had previously devoted to avoiding Jono was now being turned towards catching the telepath.
And it didn’t take him all that long to succeed, which annoyed Jono to no end.
Victor had more eagerness going for him than experience, which made the older mutant nervous. He was young and inexperienced and Jono knew better.
Frost was gonna kill him.
