Summary: Part of my JP/Victor series.

Sensual
There was a grace to the way he moved that made Victor want to pounce him and drag him off to the nearest empty room.

Sickness
“I promise, it’s just a cold.”

Heaven
Sometimes, when Victor was asleep beside him, Jean-Paul thought that this was as close to Heaven as he would ever get.

Rain
When Victor was being particularly broody and unreasonable, he would sit by Northstar’s memorial statue in the rain.

Blood
When Victor came back from the mission covered in blood, the first thing he did was assure Jean-Paul that it wasn’t his.

Waves
Both of them enjoyed the sea shore; having grown up inland, there was a certain novelty to it.

Freedom
It was years before Jean-Paul felt really free to return the affection Victor offered.

Market
Victor trailed behind Jean-Paul at the Farmer’s Market, looking more than a little lost.

Death
“They told me you were dead.”

Smile
Victor would have done anything to get Jean-Paul Beaubier to smile.

Weakness
Jean-Paul shivers as Victor ran a finger down the back of his neck.

Moon
Mr. Beaubier rubbed the bridge of his nose and wondered what had possessed him to agree to become a teacher as he picked up the Xeroxes plastered across the walls.

Melody
Victor hummed the melody of the old Three Dog Night song as he pulled Jean-Paul to his feet.

Name
“Victor Borkowski?” Mr. Beaubier asked, taking roll.

Soft
Victor loved running his hands through Jean-Paul’s hair.

Hair
Jean-Paul ran a hand restlessly over Victor’s smooth, hairless skin.

Home
Victor plucked the book out of Jean-Paul’s hands and planted a kiss on one of his pointed ears, announcing that he was home.

Fear
“I don’t want to lose you again.”

Star
Victor’s fingers traced the stylized star on Jean-Paul’s hip.

Jealousy
Julian let out a loud ‘harumph’ as Jean-Paul lead Victor away.

Taste
“You ate my orange,” Victor accused, breaking off the kiss.

Completion
“Quote that movie again and I’m tossing your DVDs out the window.”

Pain
Victor work up with a broken nose and a lot of questions.

Comfort
“I don’t know if I can tell them,” Victor whispered as his teacher put a hand on his shoulder.

Gift
The note on the trench coat read I’m sorry about your old jacket, and I hope that you will love this half as much.

Supernova
Victor threw his arm over his eyes as the Beaubier siblings reached for each other.

Sky
“What’s flying like?”

Forever
The rings were plain gold bands that meant to much to both of them.

Wind
Victor grabbed Jean-Paul’s unconscious form and wrapped his tongue around the lamp post before the whirlwind could suck them both up.

Tears
Victor preferred to shed his tears for his mentor in private.

Devotion
“You, and only you,” he said, running a finger over the ring on his lover’s hand.

Hands
Jean-Paul’s fingers wrapped around Victor’s as they let in bed, panting and sweaty and tired.

Chocolate
Jean-Paul tasted like chocolate and cinnamon.

Innocence
‘He’s too young,’ Jean-Paul reminded himself.

Potatoes
Victor barely kept from laughing as Jean-Paul wiped the potatoes Christian had lobbed at him off his face.

Telephone
“I think you should come back to the school,” Emma told Jean-Paul during their weekly phone call.

Happiness
Victor rested his head on Jean-Paul’s stomach and drifted off into a contented slumber.

Clouds
“Sometimes memory clouds the vision of the present,” Jean-Paul admitted.

Speed
“Faster,” Victor whimpered desperately.

Thunder
Victor heard only a crack as Jean-Paul raced by; his words didn’t come till later.

Bonds
The handcuffs rattled against the bedpost.

Technology
“It’s evil and it hates me,” Jean-Paul announced, glaring at the computer.

Sun
Sometimes, when Victor thought Jean-Paul was still asleep but really wasn’t, the speedster would watch the younger man watch the sun rise.

Kiss
Victor traced Jean-Paul’s lips with his tongue before moving in for the kill.

Touch
Victor shivered as Jean-Paul’s lips brushed his throat.

Hell
“What fresh new hell is this?” Jean-Paul asked, staring at the nursery in horror.

Life
“I can see myself spending my life with him.”

Sex
“Hand me the spackle,” Victor said, inspecting the hole the headboard had made in the wall.

Ears
Victor thought Jean-Paul’s best features were his ears.
