“This,” Angelo announced weakly, “sucks all kinds of ass.”
Jono nodded silently as he sat between Angelo and Jubilee, while everyone fussed over Worthington the Big Life Saver. The telepath resisted the urge to pick something up and fling it at the X-Man’s oh-so-perfect face. After all, the man had saved his two closest friends lives.
Jubilee squeezed Jono’s hand.
Angelo groaned softly. “Try to get out, and they suck us back in.”
‘s gonna be alright, Jono said.
Angelo grunted, hanging on to the telepath’s hand.

It was all of three days before Angelo cornered Jubilee and Jono and said, “We have got to get out of here.”
“Go where?” Jubilee asked. “Our place was totally thrashed, and the landlord is threatening to sue. No way we’re gonna be able to get a new place with that on our rental histories.” She snorted. “Besides, Sparky’s an X-Man. He can’t just leave.”
Jono said nothing for a few minutes. He looked at his two friends, both still recovering from their crucifixion and resurrection due to Angel’s secondary mutation, then cocked his head to one side. In a room nearby, Paige and Warren were laughing.
Lets go, he said.
