Surprisingly, Satoshi handled being around so-called common-people better than Chika did. He treated everyone the same (Chika would sometimes say that he was too stupid to notice the difference).
Chika, on the other hand, was always painfully aware of what other people did and didn’t have, especially in comparison to himself. It made him uncomfortable and everyone but Satoshi picked up on that.
