Jono yawned until he felt his jaw crack, then rolled over and nuzzled Jubilee’s shoulder. She murmured something in her sleep and managed to pull all the covers around her, forming a little cocoon. Jono grinned and nibbled on her neck, enjoying the sweat-salty taste of her skin. “Always figured you for a cover hog,” he teased.
Jubilee cracked an eye open just enough to glare at him before pulling the covers over her head. “G’way.”
“Bossy little thing, ain’t ya?”
