“If you don’t pick one yourself, Summers is going to pick one for you,” Sean warned. “Everyone else has a code name.”
“Not everyone.” Lucian picked at his salad. “Angel doesn’t have one. Besides, I don’t actually want one.”
“Spitfire,” Angel corrected, peeking out at Lucian from behind her hair.
“What about T’Cullak?”
“Beast Master,” Raia confirmed. “An’ Ah’m Sonic. Ah know Mr. Montgomery’s ‘Sonic Boom’, but it ain’t like there’s that many names not in use, y’know?”
“How about… Northstar?” Eric suggested. “It’s like, your legacy.”
“My uncle is still using it.”
“Aurora, then.”
“No,” Lucian said flatly, stabbing a wilted leaf with far more force than was necessary, bending the tines of his fork.
“Bright Star?”
“Stop it.”
