Eventually, Xavin did marry Karolina. It was years after the disastrous first ceremony, when they tried to unite their warring peoples and failed so miserably.
The second ceremony was a far quieter affair on a California beach. The sun was setting over the water, and there were only eight other people there.
Xavin insisted that Teddy Altman officiate the ceremony, even though the Skrull/Kree hybrid had no legal ability to marry anyone. Legality didn’t matter. This was about what felt right. And this felt right, even if Teddy did keep stumbling over the words, and Chase dropped the rings. It felt right even when Tommy kept telling dirty jokes, and Victor had a minor spazz attack when Molly caught the bouquet.
They were surrounded by the family they had made, and they were happy (even if Nico looked like she had swallowed something sour when she thought no one was looking, and Gert twisted her ankle climbing a sand dune).
And Xavin looked stunning in the white dress.
