There were times when Keigo really, truly disliked being only 5’5’’. Like when he was being politely menaced by a six foot tall teenager.
Not that Satsuki was being openly menacing. He was all smiles and laughter and jocularity. But there was an edge to it; his smile was too bright and sharp, and his eyes were a little too hard.
“Chiyuki’s been telling me all about you, and you know what? It sounds to me like you don’t get out near enough. You should go outside, enjoy the city for a while! Make some new friends your age!”
Underneath, Keigo could hear Satsuki warning him away from Chiyuki. He never said it outright, but it was there.
