“I don’t want to talk about it,” Victor said firmly, putting his drink down with a pointed ‘thump’. Josh nodded, but Julian was having none of it.
“Can I kill him, then?” he asked. Noting the reaction this got, he went on. “How about a maiming? You can’t tell me he doesn’t deserve a maiming.”
“Leave it alone, Julian,” Josh advised. “Vic and Amadeus can work things out on their own.”
“Yeah, but he chipped Vic like some kind of pet! That is just wrong on so many levels.”
