Summary: It’s time for the annual X-Men Baseball game, and it’s more than a little awkward for Bobby to deal with people he’s slept with.
“You’re a shape shifter,” Sean Cassidy-Guthrie said slowly. “Right, Bobby?”
Bobby Altman-Kaplan looked at his fingers, pursed his lips, and nodded. “I knew this was gonna be awkward,” he muttered. “Hi, Hyphenated Guthrie.”
“It’s Sean,” the man said helpfully. “Sam and Theresa’s son,” he added.
“Right.” Bobby straightened a little and waved to Zeke, who was standing in the outfield. “He wouldn’t stop pouting until I came to cheer him on.”
“He’s like that,” Sean agreed. “Kinda like a puppy.”
“I can say no to puppies.”
“So, why didn’t you tell me who you were that night?” Sean asked.
“People don’t go clubbing looking for more than a night. At least, I don’t. Sometimes, it’s nice to be anonymous.” He grinned. “I was the team slut.”
“And now you’re with a guy whose teammates tried to get his code name changed to Bicycle.” Sean chuckled. “The universe does have a sense of humor.”
