Bobby sat on the couch and waited for his father to start talking. He knew this was going to be one of those times when he should just sit and listen, for the comedic value if nothing else.
“Okay, so. Welcome to the wonderful world of puberty. Your body is going to betray you at every turn, and you’re going to want to have sex with people. Your father and I aren’t going to try to stop you, but we do want you to be careful. I know it doesn’t seem romantic, but unless you have protection… condoms, dental dams, spermicide, stuff like that… you could get sick, or get someone pregnant, or possibly get pregnant yourself. We’re not sure how much like a Skrull you are, biologically, and with your powers… anyway, your father and I will be happy to provide you with anything you’ll need, and we’re always here to listen. Any questions?”
“Just one. Can I be in the room when Dad tries to give this talk to Becca?”
