Summary: So, how is it no one noticed that T’Cullak was naked for a week?
There was nothing more humiliating than being sent to the principal’s office... especially when one was a teacher. And yet, somehow, this just seemed to keep happening to Christian Summers.
“So,” Julian said slowly as he spun his chair around, “how is it your student managed to run around naked for a week without you knowing?”
“Why is it my fault? Doesn’t His Highness have other teachers who should have noticed?” Chris demanded testily.
“You’re his advisor, Christian. Hell, you’re a clairvoyant. You should have known he was up to something.”
“Keller, I’m responsible for five other kids - each of whom seems determined to out do each other in their efforts to drive me mad. And who’s bright idea was it to have a Guthrie and a Starsmore sharing a room?”
“Your mother used to manage with hundreds-”
Chris stood up, his face a hard mask. “I am not my mother,” he said icily. “And it would make me incredibly happy if you didn’t bring her up again, Mr. Keller.”
