Victor chewed the mouthful of food thoughtfully as the others watched with a kind of horrified fascination. He swallowed, then sucked on his teeth before turning to Xavin. “Tastes good. Is there more?”
“Dude... ew,” Chase said, shuddering with revulsion as he pulled away from Victor. “Seriously, majorly ew.”
“You just ate a strawberry and pickle pie.” Nico looked like she was about to puke.
“Tangy, but sweet. And the crust is nice and flakey, and just a little spicy.”
“Chili pepper sprinkled on before baking,” Xavin said, pushing another slice towards Victor.”
