“it seems highly improper,” Klara said, holding the clothes Molly had brought her up to her small body, “running about in underthings.”
“It’s shorts and a tee-shirt,” Molly replied, exasperation creeping into her tone. “It’s way too hot to be running around in three layers, and your clothes are getting kinda rank.”
“Don’t you have something more modest? Anyone who looks at me could see my legs,” Klara said, giving Molly a very hopeful look.
The other girl rolled her eyes dramatically and sighed. “I’ll look. Maybe some tights?”
