“Ted and I have agreed that this is going to be the last one,” Will said as Victor peered through the incubator casing. The egg was a mottled green with a hint of purple, much like the last two had been.
“Didn’t you guys say that about Jeff?” Victor asked.
“Yeah, but we mean it this time. Four is more than enough.”
“How soon till it hatches?” Victor asked, watching Billy out of the corner of his eye.
“Two, two and a half months. We’re hoping for another girl.”
Victor grinned slightly. “Gonna name her Wanda?” he asked, laughing softly.
“Am I that easy to read?” Will asked.
