It took Daemon a few moments to recognize the young woman looking at him like he was something she’d scraped off the bottom of her shoe. “You’re Wally’s girlfriend.”
She grunted. “You’re my brother’s latest conquest,” she said in much the same tone as he had used.
“Your brother? Oh, you mean Bobby.” Daemon yawned and began rooting around for something to eat. “He’s in the shower.”
“He’d better be decontaminating himself thoroughly.”
Daemon turned his head to look at the tiny woman, eyebrows making a slow march on his hairline. “Have I done something to offend you?”
“Lets just say that I’m less than impressed with my brother’s taste in bed partners,” she said. “You won’t find anything in there but chocolate and other junk food.”
That was about the time Bobby ambled out, a towel draped around his hips and his long white hair plastered to his neck and shoulders. “Morning, Becca.” He glanced at Daemon. “You’re still here?”
“Just waiting to get a shower before I head home,” Daemon said. “Maybe some breakfast and a quickie?”
“My brother doesn’t have time for that,” Becca said coolly. “I can’t believe you slept with a Summers,” she hissed to Bobby.
“Just ignore her,” Bobby said. “She’s out resident Bitch Goddess.” He shot his sister an amused look. “And she was just leaving.”
