In other news, I clearly need some Julian/Vic icons.
Julian Keller would never admit it, not even under pain of torture, but he was fascinated by Victor Borkowski’s skin. It was the same shade of green that Julian had only ever seen on the most carefully maintained of lawns, and looking incredibly soft. The boy’s new arm, with it’s claws and scales and bumps, provided a brilliant contrast to all of the flawless, gorgeous skin. Julian could have spent days just touching that skin, leaning every contour and exploring every inch.
Part of Julian hated the idea of someone else touching that skin. The thought was almost enough to turn him green with envy (not that he was ever going to admit that, either). Besides, you never knew who someone else was, not really, and Julian was tired of seeing friends die.
So as Victor’s friend, he watched anyone who got close to Victor very carefully and dreamed of soft green skin.
